Gud4U Organicks
Our Story

Five years in the soil before a single drop of syrup.

Gud4U did not start with a product. It started with a question: could we make jaggery the way it was made before anyone learned to add anything to it?

The Beginning

It started with a conversation in a field.

Most jaggery on Indian shelves today is bleached white, chemically clarified, and rushed through the boil. We didn’t want to make that. We wanted the dark, mineral-rich gud our grandmothers knew — the kind that tastes of the earth it came from.

So we started where it actually starts. Not in a factory. In the field.

Over the last five years, we’ve worked alongside farmers in our region — sharing seed, soil testing, water-source planning, and method. The farmers grow the cane. We share the risk. The community is the foundation of every batch we make.

The family behind Gud4U Organicks
The Kitchen

The recipe is older than us. We just had to listen.

Cane is cut at the right ripeness and pressed within hours, while the juice is still sweet on the leaf. The juice is gently strained and clarified by the same time-honoured methods village kitchens have used for generations — never with sulphur, never with chemicals.

From there, it goes into the iron kadhai. Open fire. Slow boil. Skimmed by hand. When the syrup is right, it’s poured into hand-moulded blocks or shaped into single-serve coins under our sub-brand, Gudiva.

Nothing is bleached. Nothing is whitened. Nothing is added. What you taste is the field.
